Killer strut reissue of Patrice Rushen 1984 influential classic and final release on Elektra. Released after the global success of ‘Straight From The Heart’, ‘Now’ stripped back the arrangements and explored a new sonic palette. Patrice had built a home studio and was playing with synths and drum machines, forming demos to then layer on all the legendary musicians she corralled in this era. All original artwork remains and it features vocal and instrumental 12” versions of the album’s singles ‘Get Off’ and ‘Feels So Real’. Also includes rare photos and a new interview with Patrice Rushen. Essential.
